Starlite Aviation Group is building a talent pool of experienced SACAA-licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) with a current Bell 412 (B412) rating for potential upcoming rotor-wing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient maintenance of assigned aircraft, including:

• Ensuring aircraft are returned to service in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Performing all maintenance in accordance with approved OEM and Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) documentation.
• Conducting fault finding, defect diagnosis and rectification.
• Ensuring the correct aircraft spares, tooling and equipment are identified and ordered.
• Maintaining effective tool control and accountability.
• Ensuring compliance with SACAA and all other applicable aviation authority regulations.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of workmanship and quality.
• Completing maintenance tasks within established standard times.
• Diagnosing and rectifying aircraft defects effectively.
• Embodying approved modifications and satisfying applicable ASBs, CSNs, SSIs and ADs.
• Preparing for and assisting with internal and external audits.
• Maintaining accurate and complete maintenance records and documentation.
• Supporting the overall maintenance and operational requirements of the aircraft and project.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Applicants must meet the following essential requirements:

• Qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) and current licence holder.
• Valid SACAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence.
• Current Bell 412 (B412) type rating.
• Minimum of 5 years experience on the Bell 412 (B412) aircraft.
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Knowledge and experience of aircraft maintenance logistical support systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel and work internationally.
• Previous international contract experience will be advantageous.
• Experience with a CAMO environment will be advantageous.
