Bloom Education is currently looking for an inspirational school leader for a Principal position in our Northern Emirates school, commencing August 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring innovative strategies to the Implementation of the US curriculum
  • Provide professional leadership and management of teaching and learning throughout the school
  • Ensure the school and the people and resources within it are well organized and managed to provide an efficient, effective and safe learning environment
  • Ensure that students enjoy and benefit from a high-quality education, promoting collective responsibility within the whole school community
  • Develop a school ethos which enables everyone to work collaboratively, share knowledge and understanding, celebrate success and accept responsibility for outcomes
  • Ensure that strategic planning takes account of the diversity, values and experience of the school and the UAE community at large
  • Monitor, evaluate and review the effects of policies, priorities and targets of the school in practice and take action if necessary
  • Improve the quality of teaching and learning and students achievement, setting high expectations and monitoring and evaluating effectiveness of learning outcomes
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in the curriculum and disseminate effectively to other members of staff
  • Plan, delegate and evaluate work carried out by team(s) and individuals

Requirements:

  • Relevant BA Degree in Education & PGCE
  • At least 8 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years of experience School leadership role within a Primary / Elementary school
  • Experience of leading school initiatives that have led to improvement in standards and achievements
  • Experience with the American curriculum is preferred
  • Middle East GCC experience is an advantage
