We are looking for a qualified and experienced Teaching Assistant for our Nursery located in Bani Yas, Abu Dhabi. The position is available immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the EY Supervisor in preparing the classroom, learning materials, and daily activities.

  • Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Engage children through play, storytelling, songs, and age-appropriate learning activities.

  • Observe and support children's learning and development, maintaining accurate records as required.

  • Assist with children's daily care routines.

    Ensure the classroom, equipment, and learning resources are clean, organized, and well maintained.

  • Supervise children at all times, including during outdoor play, trips, and bus arrivals/departures, ensuring their safety.

  • Communicate professionally with parents and work collaboratively with colleagues.

  • Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and support nursery events when required.

    Requirements : 

  • Vocational Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education.

  • Diploma with evidence of Early Childhood training of no less than 100 hours.

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a nursery setting.

  • Experience in nurseries in the UAE will be an advantage.

  • Fluent in Arabic and English communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with staff in a diverse multi-cultural environment.

  • Demonstrate professionalism, commitment and integrity.
    Innovative, motivated, resourceful, flexible and outgoing.
