About the job HR Officer

As a HR Officer you will be responsible for managing and coordinating Bloom Education's medical insurance program, accurate processing of visas and work permits for employees. You will report to the HR Operations Lead and will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department.

  • Administer and manage the company's medical insurance program, ensuring all employees are enrolled and coverage is maintained.
  • Work with insurance providers to negotiate rates and manage renewals
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding medical insurance coverage and claims processing
  • Communicate with employees to ensure timely and accurate submission of medical claims
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records related to medical insurance coverage
  • Manage and oversee the visa and work permit application process for employees
  • Ensure all visa and work permit applications are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Liaise with government authorities and immigration agencies to obtain necessary visas and work permits
  • Coordinate with employees to ensure all required documentation is submitted on time and in the correct format
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to employee visa and work permit status
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding visa and work permit processes.
  • Assist with other HR-related duties as assigned, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR administration, with a focus on medical insurance, visa and work permit processing
  • Previous experience in Education Sector
  • Strong understanding of medical insurance processes and procedures
  • Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations related to visa and work permit processing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations
