Third Party Logistics (3PL) Contract Manager

Cakum Global is recruiting a 3PL Contract Manager for our client based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Role Overview:
This is a senior operational role responsible for managing corporate 3PL contracts, ensuring financial performance, operational excellence, and delivery against agreed KPIs. The successful candidate will oversee warehouse and fleet coordination while maintaining strong customer relationships and commercial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Contract & Customer Management

• Meet and exceed contractual KPIs and reporting requirements

• Manage monthly and quarterly business reviews with key 3PL customers

• Provide high-level corporate customer service and stakeholder engagement

3PL Operations Leadership

• Oversee day-to-day 3PL contract operations

• Manage fleet and warehouse coordinators

• Monitor P&L performance and deliver results against budget

• Audit billing accuracy and ensure financial discipline

• Oversee WMS management, stock control, and cataloguing

• Lead weekly and monthly stocktakes and variance investigations

• Develop and track KPIs including on-time delivery, productivity, safety, and inventory accuracy

Leadership & Governance

• Lead investigations for operational incidents and major events

• Manage staff performance, recruitment, and industrial matters

• Conduct annual performance reviews

• Ensure operational continuity during leave periods

• Represent the company professionally at all times

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong experience in 3PL, warehouse, and contract logistics management

• Proven ability to manage P&L and contractual performance

• Experience leading warehouse and transport teams

• Strong analytical skills with experience in KPI reporting and WMS systems

• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills

• Commercially focused with a disciplined operational approach
