About the job Head of Inspections

We are looking to fill in the position of Head of Inspection who will responsible for leading Inspection team and overseeing all aspects of strategically improving the performance of Inspection department. You will be leading a team of more than 30 headcounts and assist Carsome Thailand in developing, monitoring, analyzing, creating and implementing inspection quality processes and procedures as well as initiating proper strategies to improve inspectors’ productivity, transactions numbers including the overall customer experience.

Work scope breakdown: People Management (40%), Quality/Quantity Growth and Improvement (60%)


What You Will Do

Quality/Quantity Growth and Improvement:

  • Analyze quality and quantity data to compile and track performance at team and individual level.
  • Provides actionable plan/data to various internal support groups/to management team including improvement plan/recommendations/solutions.
  • Manage all aspects of the department including inspector, buyer, and quality control teams.
  • Uplifting and improve work process and report analysis to generate positive impact for the business. Provide the necessary training to team members and ensure that the entire department understands business direction.
  • Provide vision and guidance and motivate the team to meet the company target while maintaining positive work environment.
  • Initiate and implement strategic approaches to improve the efficiency of inspection productivity and transaction numbers.
  • Undertakes new project initiatives that requires internal operational support from time to time and when duly required to achieve the company’s objectives.
  • Improves inspection quality results by evaluating, and re-designing work processes and training methods; establishing and communicating metrics; monitoring and analyzing results; implementing changes.

People management:

  • Oversees and supervise teams to provide excellent customer service and experience.
  • Lead the team by example and be able to demonstrate the high-performance culture mindset.
  • Coaching and training to improve subordinates’ skill sets.
  • Determine the most appropriate solutions to problems and take action when there is discipline.
  • To monitor and assess staffs’ demeanor, technical accuracy, negotiating skills and customer satisfaction to conform the company policies and procedure.


What You Will Need

  • Bachelor Degree/Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years experienced in Automotive industry.
  • At least 2 years experienced in leadership role/managing a team of at least 30 headcounts.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills fluent in Thai and English.
  • Outstanding customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Must be self-motivator, self-starter, and open-minded with Can-do attitude.
  • Exceptional listening and analytical skills.
  • Data driven and strategic thinking is a must.
  • Solid time management skills.
  • Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
