Electrical Technician (Part-Time / Nights & Weekends)
We're looking for a highly skilled, hands-on Electrical Technician (Part-Time / Nights & Weekends) to support our engineering team during off-hours, ideally nights or weekends. This is a very part-time role, perfect for someone with a steady hand and a sharp eye who enjoys diving into detailed electrical work.
Responsibilities
- Perform fine-pitch soldering on PCB assemblies, including adding/modifying components and blue wire rework
- Assemble, modify, and test custom electrical cables and harnesses
- Support PCB bring-up activities alongside engineers
- Maintain lab tools and workspace cleanliness for safe and efficient hardware development
- Provide documentation or feedback to improve future iterations of builds
Basic Qualifications
- Proven experience soldering SMT components and performing PCB rework
- Comfortable working from schematics and electrical drawings
- Experience building and inspecting electrical cables to aerospace or defense standards preferred
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability during evenings or weekends
- U.S. Person status required due to export-controlled work

Capable of tactfully managing relationships with stakeholders to achieve company-desired outcomes without compromising relationships. Emails, IMs and verbal interactions are logical, drive clarity, and detailed enough to eliminate ambiguity.
ITAR Requirements
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
