About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Vehicle Painter / Sprayer to join a leading Accident Repair Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle painting, be confident working with a variety of paint systems, and maintain a high standard of finish on all repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming
  • Mix and match paint colours accurately using manufacturer specifications
  • Apply paint using spray guns and approved techniques to ensure a flawless finish
  • Carry out blending techniques for seamless repairs
  • Inspect painted surfaces for quality assurance before final handover
  • Maintain paint booth cleanliness and follow all health & safety procedures
  • Work efficiently to ensure timely turnaround and minimise rework
  • Collaborate with other technicians and bodyshop staff as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a vehicle painter/sprayer in a bodyshop environment
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Refinishing or equivalent qualification
  • Skilled in using water-based and 2-pack paint systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Familiarity with accident repair processes and insurance work standards
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
