Reports To: Marketing Country Lead (Malaysia)

Scope: Malaysia Market
I/ Role Purpose:
Build and scale a content ecosystem that helps establish [Brand Name] as a widely recognized Performance Lifestyle brand in Malaysia. Transform Communities, Creators, and UGC into a sustainable Content Engine that continuously generates Attention, Engagement, and supports revenue growth across TikTok Shop, Shopee, and Website channels.
II/ Key Responsibilities:
A. Content & Social Strategy Development (30%)
- Develop the Content Strategy for the Malaysian market.
- Define content pillars for different customer segments.
- Build and maintain the Malaysia Content Bible.
- Research content trends and user behavior across TikTok, Instagram, and Shopee.
B. Content Engine Operations (40%)
- Plan weekly content production and distribution.
- Coordinate content resources from: Production Team, Creators, Affiliates, Communities, and User-Generated Content (UGC).
- Manage publishing schedules across TikTok, Instagram, and relevant platforms.
- Ensure content output meets growth objectives.
C. Social Performance & Organic Growth Optimization (30%)
- Monitor and evaluate content performance.
- Identify and scale high-performing content formats.
- Optimize social engagement and organic reach.
- Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Team to scale winning content.
- Recommend new content initiatives based on data-driven insights.
Authority & Decision-Making Rights:
- Recommend content strategies for the Malaysian market.
- Propose and execute new content experiments.
- Request support from Production and Design teams.
- Evaluate creator-generated content performance.
- Recommend budgets for content production initiatives.

IV/ Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Content Marketing or Social Media.
- Proven experience building and managing social media channels.
- Experience working with Influencers and/or Creators.
- Preferred background in Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) Brands, Ecommerce, Sportswear Brands, or Lifestyle Brands.

- Ability to translate customer insights into compelling content ideas.

- Ability to develop content pillars and strategic content frameworks.
- Ability to design scalable content systems rather than isolated content pieces.

- Deep understanding of the TikTok ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels.
- Understanding of social commerce behavior.
Creative Development:
- Ability to write effective creative briefs.
- Strong capability in evaluating content quality.
- Ability to guide visual direction and storytelling.
Data & Optimization:
- Analyze content performance and effectiveness.
- Identify winning content formats.
- Make data-driven decisions and recommendations.
Project Management:
- Coordinate multiple content resources simultaneously.
- Manage timelines and output quality effectively.
