1. Job Description

   • Conduct customer requirement analysis, drawing study & technical feasibility for new wiring harness projects.

   • Prepare 2D/3D harness layouts, routing diagrams, bill of materials and technical specifications.

   • Develop and update process sheets, work instructions, assembly, charts, control plans & other engineering documents.

   • Coordinate with customers for RFQ, technical queries, drawing clarification, changes & project reviews.

   • Support prototype building, validation, pilot run & trial production activities.

   • Lead APQP activities, FMEA, DFMEA/PFMEA and ensure PPAP submission on time.

   • Implement ECN/ECR and assess impact on design, materials, tooling, process & cost.

   • Maintain BOMs, routings, work centers, and other engineering data in SAP.

   • Work closely with Design, Quality, Production, Purchase & Suppliers to ensure on-time project launch.

   • Drive cost reduction, productivity improvement and quality enhancement through continuous improvement & VA/VE initiatives.

2. Requirements

   • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering or related field.

   • Experience: Minimum 5 years in NPD, Product Development or Manufacturing Engineering.

   • Preferred: Experience in Wiring Harness Manufacturing, Automotive Electrical Systems or related automotive products.

   • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Wiring Harness design, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Catia /Zuken E3, series, Creo or similar tools: Hands-on experience with SAP ERP: Familiarity with IATF 16949.

   • Soft Skills: Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, good communication, team player, able to manage multiple projects & meet deadlines.
