1. Job Description

   • Develop, validate, and continuously improve painting processes for carbon fiber and composite products, including pretreatment, primer, base coat, and clear coat applications.

   • Establish and optimize critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, viscosity, coating thickness, and curing conditions.

   • Evaluate, select, and approve paints, thinners, and coating materials in collaboration with suppliers and the R&D team.

   • Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), and Control Plans.

   • Conduct process capability studies (Cp/Cpk), implement DOE, and drive continuous process improvements.

   • Provide technical support for daily painting operations, troubleshoot coating defects, perform root cause analysis using 8D and 5 Why methodologies, and implement corrective actions.

   • Monitor painting process conditions, equipment performance, and environmental parameters to ensure stable production quality.

   • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, chemical handling procedures, VOC control requirements, and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Requirements

   • College degree or above in Chemical Engineering.

   • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Painting Process Engineer in the automotive manufacturing industry.

   • Hands-on experience with industrial painting processes is mandatory, including manual spray painting using spray guns. Experience with robotic painting systems is an advantage.

   • Strong understanding of painting process parameters, coating materials, industrial paint booths, conveyors, and paint quality control tools.

   • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, process optimization, and visual paint inspection methods.

   • Can read and understand English technical documents.

   • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

   • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

3. Benefits

   • Report to: Technical Section Manager

   • Salary: 20–25 million VND gross/month.

   • Working schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:20 AM – 4:48 PM (finish at 4:00 PM on Fridays).

   • Company shuttle bus from Bien Hoa, Thu Duc (Cantavil/Crossroad), and Ba Ria.

   • Year-end bonus: 13 salary month (fixed)

   • 12 days of annual leave per year.

   • Social Insurance based on 70% of the total salary package after successful completion of the probation period.

   • PVI healthcare insurance after successful completion of the probation period.
