Supply Chain Manager
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all supply chain activities, including procurement, material planning, inventory management, and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and processes to support company goals and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with suppliers, production, quality, and operations teams to ensure supply continuity, quality standards, and lead-time compliance.
- Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiation, and performance to ensure best cost, quality, and delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and optimize buffer stocks to minimize excess inventory and avoid material shortages.
- Analyze supply chain KPIs, generate regular reports, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and optimize logistics operations, both inbound and outbound, including transportation, customs, and warehousing.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives in procurement, transportation, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (import/export, customs, trade compliance) and internal policies.
- Lead and mentor a team within the supply chain department, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree (Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields).
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management roles, preferably in largescale electronics manufacturing.
- Proficient in English or Chinese (read, write, speak) to communicate with international suppliers and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and manage metrics/KPIs.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
- Solid understanding of inventory management, material requirements planning (MRP), and logistics.
- Experience in cost control, process improvement, and implementing supply chain best practices. Leadership skills with ability to manage and develop team members.
