1. Job Description

   • Plan, deploy and maintain DWDM / OTN / NMS transmission systems for core and metro networks.

   • Perform installation, commissioning, integration, cut-over and acceptance testing for transmission equipment.

   • Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and low latency.

   • Troubleshoot transmission/network issues, conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) and coordinate resolution with customers/operators.

   • Support capacity planning and network migration projects to meet increasing bandwidth requirements.

   • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including: Network design, Maintenance procedures, Configuration/change records, Troubleshooting documentation.

   • Coordinate with IP Core/Metro, GPON and other technical teams for end-to-end service delivery.

2. Requirements

   • Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related fields.

   • Hands-on experience with DWDM / OTN transmission equipment.

   • Experience with transmission platforms from major vendors or equivalent systems.

   • Strong knowledge of optical transmission technologies, including: DWDM, OTN, ROADM, EDFA, Raman, ASON, Coherent Optics, CDC/CDC-F related technologies.

   • Experience working with NMS platforms for transmission network management.

   • Good English communication skills, both speaking and writing.

   • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

   • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

   • Able to manage multiple time-critical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

   • Willing to travel as required.

   • Preferred: Certification in Transmission / Optical Networking, such as: HCIP/HCIE Transmission, Ciena / Nokia optical networking certifications.

   • Preferred: Experience working with telecom operators or large-scale transmission networks.

   • Preferred: Experience in network migration, capacity expansion or major network upgrade projects.
