Production Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing system improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and cost optimization.
- Develop and execute process and system roadmaps, including automation, digitalization, and compliance frameworks.
- Conduct comprehensive process and capability assessments to define long-term production strategies and system architecture.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and internal quality systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and EHS teams to ensure manufacturability and alignment of production systems.
- Drive continuous improvement programs using Lean, Six Sigma, and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment and process-related issues on the production floor.
- Develop and deliver training programs for production staff on new processes, tools, and compliance standards.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to track progress and support decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation, and compliance standards (ISO, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or high-volume production is highly preferred.
- Good command of English (mandatory); Mandarin is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking with a data-driven mindset.
- Proven problem-solving and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional or global environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
