1. Job Description

   • Manage and oversee customs brokerage and trucking operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and high-quality service.

   • Handle customs declarations and trucking shipments, particularly cross-border and bonded cargo, while leading and developing the customs team.

   • Provide expert guidance to customers and internal teams on customs procedures, especially for EPE, FDI, and manufacturing companies operating in Vietnam.

   • Manage and directly handle import/export and cross-border customs declarations via ECUS/VNACCS.

   • Oversee customs clearance for trucking and bonded shipments at major border gates such as Huu Nghi, Lao Cai, Mong Cai, and Noi Bai.

   • Ensure accurate HS code classification, duty calculation, and application of preferential tariffs under FTAs.

   • Keep up to date with customs regulations, laws, decrees, and circulars to provide accurate advice.

   • Lead customs and trucking projects between Vietnam, China, and other regional markets.

   • Advise customers on suitable customs procedures, including temporary import/export, bonded goods, and EPE-related processes.

   • Support new EPE/FDI customers with production facility registration, inspection location setup, inspection codes, and relevant licenses/permits.

   • Advise customers on import procedures for new commodities, including products requiring testing, MOIT/MOH certificates, or quality conformity registration.

   • Coordinate with customs authorities and relevant regulatory agencies to clarify procedures and resolve issues.

   • Lead, manage, and coach the customs and trucking team in line with the company’s cross-border logistics strategy.

   • Take responsibility for customs-trucking projects from planning through implementation.

   • Ensure service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with company standards.

   • Develop training programs to enhance team capabilities and professional development.

   • Manage customs brokers, trucking suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure service quality, cost effectiveness, and performance.

   • Coordinate with overseas agents and logistics partners on customs and trucking projects.

   • Work with Sales and Management teams in meetings with customers and vendors to discuss customs procedures, costs, and logistics solutions.

   • Support bidding, pricing, and customer onboarding by providing accurate customs and procedural guidance.

   • Prepare monthly reports for the Branch Manager and Managing Director covering declaration volumes, accuracy, vendor performance, operational issues, and improvement plans.

2. Requirements

   • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Customs, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

   • Mandatory customs brokerage license.

   • At least 5 years of experience in customs brokerage, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership position.

   • Strong expertise in ECUS/VNACCS and hands-on experience in customs declarations.

   • In-depth knowledge of Vietnam customs procedures, particularly EPE, bonded warehouse, and FDI-related processes.

   • Experience in cross-border trucking and logistics operations is highly preferred.

   • Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

   • Proficient in both Vietnamese and English; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
