QA Supervisor

 Job Description:

I/ Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise QA team activities and maintain the company's Quality Management and Food Safety Management System.
  • Implement, maintain, and improve food safety standards such as BRC, FSSC 22000, IFS, SQF, and FSMA.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits, and lead external certification audits.
  • Monitor compliance with WI, SOPs, quality, and food safety requirements across all departments.
  • Handle customer complaints and internal non-conformities related to quality and food safety, ensuring effective corrective actions.
  • Prepare and update quality procedures, SOPs, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise quality and food safety activities on the factory floor and provide technical support to related departments.
  • Research and interpret food safety regulations (including EU and FDA requirements) and ensure compliance.
  • Support the implementation of 5S, Kaizen, pest control, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the QA Section Manager.
II/ Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field (graduates from the University of Technology or University of Science are preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Good knowledge of food safety management systems, including BRC, FSSC 22000, IFS, SQF, or FSMA.
  • Experience conducting internal audits and leading external certification audits.
  • Ability to read and understand food safety regulations, including EU legislation and FDA requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good command of English (required).
  • Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, pest control, and continuous improvement is an advantage.
