 Job Description:

Position: QC Leader

Salary Range: 1000-1500 USD

Location: Hai Duong

Reporting directly to Vietnamese QC Manager, manage 3-4 engineers in team.

2 rounds of interviews: offline round with Vietnamese Manager and online round with US headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is stationed at our Vietnam manufacturing site and holds responsibility for overseeing all aspects of plant quality, from New Product Introduction (NPI) through mass production. The main focus areas include advanced quality planning, production approval processes, issue resolution, quality initiatives, and cost reduction efforts related to quality.

Core Responsibilities and Key Functions:

  • Establish and track key quality performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with factory and global standards to support strategic quality objectives.
  • Lead root cause investigations and manage customer complaint resolution, ensuring issues are addressed effectively and sustainably.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and analyze KPIs, implement preventive actions, and drive product quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with both internal and customer-defined quality and product qualification standards.
  • Oversee all quality operations related to testing and verification processes.
  • Act as the primary contact for ISO, BSCI, and other relevant certification activities at the site.
  • Guarantee that production line activities are supported by properly calibrated equipment, accurate procedures, and up-to-date visual instructions, all in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Supervise the setup, maintenance, and calibration of quality-related testing equipment used in daily operations.
  • Develop and enforce standardized documentation protocols to ensure quality records are maintained, reviewed, and controlled appropriately.
  • Lead strategic quality projects and initiatives aimed at boosting overall performance.
  • Design and implement a Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) in collaboration with manufacturing and quality teams to support plant growth.
  • Manage and guide the quality engineering team in driving standardization and quality improvements.
  • Conduct regular process audits in partnership with relevant departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field; a Masters degree is considered an advantage.
  • 5 to 8 years of hands-on quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting. Experience in quality management in mechanical manufacturing companies, especially automobiles, is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of quality systems and standards within a global, multinational corporate structure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Certified in Six Sigma (Yellow or Green Belt).
  • Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 standards.

Working Conditions:

- Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:30 AM 4:30 PM)

- 13th salary month+ bonus (April 30, September, year-end bonus), salary increase twice a year based on evaluation (average increase 5%).

- Probation period: 2 months, 85% basic salary + 100% allowance.

- Annual leave: 12 days per year.

- Insurance paid on full salary.
