Position: Casting Process Engineer

Salary Range: negotiate

Location: Hanoi

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Analysis, Optimization and improve operation and quality:

- Conduct full assessments of current casting processes and workflows.

- Develop optimization strategies and plans to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.

- Monitor and analyze the results of implemented optimizations, making adjustments as needed.

Troubleshooting:

- Proactively detect anomalies, deviations, or disruptions in the casting workflow.

- Conduct root cause analysis.

- Implement immediate actions to stabilize the situation and minimize the impact on production.

- Execute the corrective action plan and closely monitor implementation process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with Production, QC, Engineering, suppliers and other relevant teams to gather information and align on optimization goals.

- Communicate optimization plans, timelines, and responsibilities to ensure successful implementation.

- Provide training and support to casting team on new or updated processes and equipment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Expertise:

- Metallurgy, fundamental understanding of principles and procedures in manufacturing/ casting; processes, equipment and technologies

- Proficiency in data collection, analysis and visualization tools.

- Understanding about process improvement methodologies (e.g. LEAN, Six Sigma, PDCA)

Experience:

- A plus if have working experience with metal casting of precious- / semi-precious alloys and jewellery manufacturing.

- At least 3 years of relevant experience

Communication Skills:

- Good English
