Molding Engineer

Place: Ha Noi, Hung Yen, Hai Duong

Salary: Negotiation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design molds, dies, and tools for plastic injection and aluminum die-casting for both new and relocation projects.
• Maintain and improve existing molds, tooling, and die systems to ensure stable, high-quality production.
• Optimize existing production processes and parameter settings to maintain stable, cost-effective, and high-quality production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve daily issues related to the injection/casting processes to ensure seamless production flow.
• Plan and develop assembly fixtures and tooling for new projects, ensuring they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with tooling suppliers to approve the functionality and quality of specified equipment.
• Work closely with the Purchasing team to identify and develop new suppliers for mold making and repair services.
• Provide investment and production cost calculations for new projects and offer cost estimation to project leaders.
• Make and verify ISIR (Initial Sample Inspection Report) for new and relocated projects in cooperation with the R&D and Quality teams.
• Prepare necessary documentation for PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) to ensure all quality and process validation standards are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the plastic injection or aluminum die-casting industry.

• Strong experience in the development and improvement of injection/casting molds and tools.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
