Technical Sales Engineer (Steam Turbine, Japanese Nationality)

 Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with OEMs, retrofit customers, end users, and business partners in Japan
  • Understand customer needs and provide technical consultation with suitable solutions
  • Support customers throughout the full sales process, including: Technical discussions, Product presentations, Quotations and negotiations, Project follow-up, After-sales support.
  • Coordinate closely with headquarters in Germany regarding technical and commercial matters
  • Communicate customer requirements internally and support technical issue resolution
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the sustainable growth of the Japanese market
  • Build long-term customer relationships based on trust and technical expertise
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in: Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Automation or related technical fields
  • Experience in technical sales of industrial equipment or technical solutions
  • Preferably experienced in: Engine control systems, Automation, Control technology, Electric drive systems
  • Strong ability to understand technical requirements and propose suitable solutions professionally
  • Commercial mindset with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Able to work independently and proactively
  • Fluent Japanese and good English communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within Japan
