JOB DESCRIPTION TEST MANAGER
Salary package: 35 - 70 millions
CNKs client in the production of high-speed cable products, particularly serving the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Key Responsibilities
1. Test Strategy & Planning
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy and roadmap aligned with project objectives and timelines.
- Define test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for new features, bug fixes, and regression testing.
- Prioritize testing activities based on business impact, risk assessment, and resource availability.
2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the testing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Conduct performance reviews and support career development for team members.
3. Quality Assurance & Execution
- Ensure compliance with testing standards, best practices, and applicable regulations.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
- Oversee test execution, analyze results, and drive the resolution of defects and open issues.
4. Communication & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between the testing team, development teams, product management, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular meetings, reporting, and status updates to maintain alignment and transparency.
- Participate in product planning and design reviews, providing testing insights and quality feedback.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and implement new tools, techniques, and methodologies.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software and SI (Signal Integrity) testing.
- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement within the testing team.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Communications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software and SI testing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (Agile, Scrum) and testing methodologies (unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and testing tools.
- Familiarity with defect tracking systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Communications, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
