QA Manager

 Job Description:

SCOPE AND GOALS OF THE POSITION:

Ensuring that the requirements for factorys quality assurance ability are effectively implemented and maintained by the factory.

RESULTS AREA:

  • Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance
  • Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing), and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures.
  • Evaluate, approve and/or provide expertise for problem solving (e.g., root cause and robust permanent corrective actions), internal/external audit preparation, etc.

ACTIVITIES:

  • Understanding and complying with the usage and marking requirements of compulsory product certification/CQC voluntary certification, conditions of cancellation, suspension and withdrawal, to ensure certificates and marks are used properly.
  • In charge of supervising the production process to make sure that all products meet consistent standards
  • Establish Flow Process Chart (FPC), Control Plan (CP) for new model. Review/Update when necessary.
  • Discover Supplier Quality Manual and Customer-specific requirements with each Customer.
  • Work with New Model Department to prepare and submit PPAP package to Customer
  • Follow Initial Control of new model.
  • Prepare/follow items for External Audits (Certificate Body of IATF, homologation)
  • Solve Customer Claim (receive information from customers, coordinate other depts to find out root cause/ corrective actions, prepare report, submit to customer).
  • Control Internal/ External changing point.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • University graduation in major of Industrial or Mechanical Engineer's degree.
  • Have a 5 years of experience in the role of Quality Manager in automotive field
