1. Job Description

• The Production Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing manufacturing engineering activities at the Vietnam factory. This role ensures that production processes operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively while meeting required quality standards and production schedules.

• The position focuses on driving continuous improvement, resolving manufacturing and quality issues, reducing operational costs, and improving overall production performance. The Production Engineering Manager will work closely with development and production teams to plan, coordinate, and implement new products, processes, and manufacturing technologies.

• Lead, manage, and develop the Production Engineering team by providing direction, coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance team capabilities and performance.

• Design, develop, and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to improve production efficiency, product quality, workplace safety, and operational effectiveness.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Production, Sourcing, Quality, and Planning, to support the development and introduction of new products, components, and manufacturing processes.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying manufacturing engineering principles to increase productivity, minimize waste, optimize processes, and improve overall operational performance.

• Monitor and evaluate production data, KPIs, and operational metrics to identify improvement opportunities and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure manufacturing activities comply with company policies, applicable regulatory requirements, quality systems, and industry standards while maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

• Lead the introduction and implementation of new machinery, equipment, technologies, and automation solutions to strengthen manufacturing capabilities and improve production efficiency.

• Prepare and manage the Production Engineering budget, ensuring effective resource allocation, cost control, and alignment with business objectives.

• Work with suppliers and vendors to identify, assess, and implement new technologies, materials, equipment, and engineering solutions that can improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.

• Provide technical and engineering support for complex manufacturing issues, including troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, problem resolution, and production optimization.

2. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Engineering degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience in Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering function.

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management position.

• Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, machining, fabrication, and industrial automation.

• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while controlling timelines, budgets, and resources.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders across different functions.

• Good understanding of quality management systems and relevant ISO standards.

• Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret production data and KPIs to identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.

• Good at English

Note:

• The successful candidate must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

• Occasionally moving within the office or factory environment to access filing cabinets, meeting rooms, copiers/printers, and other facilities, while being able to remain in a stationary position for approximately 50% of the working time.

• Handling, moving, or repositioning products and equipment, including items such as sewing machines weighing up to approximately 50 pounds (23 kg).

• Performing any other physical activities reasonably required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.

3. Benefits

• Salary range: USD 3000-5000

• Team size: PE+ FM team (30 Headcounts)

• Report to: GM

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)

• 13th salary month+ bonus (April 30, September, year-end bonus), salary increase twice a year based on evaluation (average increase 5%).

• Probation period: 2 months, 85% basic salary + 100% allowance.

• Annual leave: 12 days per year.

• Insurance paid on full salary.
