JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Occupational Safety Management

• Monitor and supervise compliance with occupational safety regulations and procedures across all factory production activities.

• Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments in the workplace; propose control measures to minimize incident risks.

• Coordinate the investigation and root cause analysis of occupational accidents and safety incidents; implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of post-incident improvement measures to prevent recurrence.

2. EHS Training & Awareness

• Organize occupational safety training programs for new hires and conduct periodic training for current employees.

• Develop and update training materials, procedures, guidelines, and safety standards based on practical requirements.

• Implement promotional activities to enhance safety compliance awareness and foster a strong EHS culture within the company.

3. Inspection, Audit, and Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections and audits in production areas to ensure strict compliance with safety standards.

• Inspect the operational status of the fire prevention and fighting (FPF) system, personal protective equipment (PPE), and related safety devices.

• Evaluate EHS compliance levels across departments, operational units, and contractors working at the factory.

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: College or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience: Proven experience as an EHS Engineer / HSE Engineer in manufacturing plants or industrial environments.

• Solid understanding of legal regulations regarding occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environment, and related EHS standards.

• Strong ability to conduct risk assessments, investigate incidents, and develop preventive measures.

• Excellent training, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills within the factory.

• Language: Ability to use Chinese at work (HSK 4 or above is highly preferred), especially within an FDI corporate environment.

• High sense of responsibility, proactiveness, and the ability to work independently under pressure.
