1. Job Description

   • Serve as the strategic communication bridge between senior executives/technical experts and Vietnamese government leaders (Ministries, Departments, Provincial authorities) and C-level executives of large enterprises. The role requires diplomatic finesse, commercial acumen, and cultural intelligence to support high-stakes negotiations, strategic partnerships, and national-scale digital transformation projects.

   • High-Level Interpretation: Provide consecutive and simultaneous interpretation at executive briefings with government officials, commercial negotiations with C-level executives (banks, telecom operators, energy groups, conglomerates), and Steering Committee meetings, kick-offs, and milestone reviews for mega-projects (national broadband, smart city, digital transformation).

   • Diplomatic & Executive Communication: Act as a cultural and diplomatic bridge: observe formality, honorifics, and protocols; convey negotiation nuances (indirect cues, face-saving, trust-building); handle sensitive topics (pricing, timelines, political implications) with absolute discretion. Prepare bilingual talking points, briefing memos, and executive summaries (Chinese ⇔ Vietnamese/English) before key meetings.

   • Stakeholder Coordination: Accompany executives on business trips, site visits, Data Center tours, and VIP customer visits with on-site interpretation. Coordinate between internal teams (technical, sales, legal, project management) and external stakeholders (government agencies, enterprise clients, partners). Manage meeting protocols, from agenda preparation and seating arrangements to follow-up documentation.

   • Event & Training Support: Interpret at workshops, conferences, and seminars (Cloud Summit, Digital Vietnam Conference, executive technology briefings for government leaders, and HCIA/HCIP/HCIE training sessions as needed).

2. Requirements

   • Bachelor’s degree in a major in Chinese translation or in Chinese major.

   • At least 5 years of experience as a professional interpreter, with strong consecutive and simultaneous interpretation skills in formal, high-stakes settings.

   • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and Vietnamese, with professional English.

   • Deep understanding of Vietnamese diplomatic protocol.
