1. Job Description

   • Conduct drawing study & technical feasibility, review customer requirements and provide technical solutions.

   • Handle RFQ activities, prepare technical inputs and coordinate with customers for queries, changes, reviews and new business support.

   • Prepare & maintain engineering documents: PFD, Process Sheet, JD, RFQ docs, AA/DEL, BOM, MoB, Work Instructions & Control Plans.

   • Implement ECN/ECR, assess impact and coordinate with production, Quality, Planning, Purchase & Stores.

   • Create & maintain material masters, BOMs, routing and engineering data in SAP, generate project reports.

   • Prepare & update FA drawings, sub-assembly drawings, process layouts & tooling drawings.

   • Support prototype, pilot lot, trial production, APQP, PPAP & SOP activities for new product introduction.

   • Drive continuous improvement, VA/VE initiative and solve problems using 8D, Why-Why, Fishbone, etc.

2. Requirements

   • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Industrial Engineering or related field.

   • Experience: 8-10 years in NPD, Product Development or Manufacturing Engineering.

   • Preferred: Experience in Lockset, Switches, Die Casting, Plastic Injection, Wiring Harness or automotive components.

   • Technical Skills: Engineering drawings & GD&T, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, SAP ERP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks (CATIA/Creo), IATF 16949.

   • Soft Skills: Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, good communication, team player, able to manage multiple projects & meet deadlines.
