1. Job responsibilities

• Lead New Product Development (NPD) for automotive locksets, latches, handles, and access systems.

• Manage product development projects from concept to production, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and manufacturing capabilities.

• Oversee APQP/PPAP processes and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality to drive project success.

• Manage customer relationships with OEM/Tier-1 customers, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.

• Provide team leadership, problem-solving, and project management to achieve NPD goals.

2. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in automotive components, preferably NPD/Lockset.

• Strong knowledge of automotive locksets, product development, APQP/PPAP and manufacturing processes.

• Strong project management, problem-solving and team leadership skills.

• Good English communication and MS Office/Excel skills; experience with OEM/Tier-1 customers is preferred.
