Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Project & Technical Services to oversee the full lifecycle of all development and renovation projects across the groups global portfolio. This leadership role combines strategic technical oversight with hands-on project coordination and operational engagement.
The scope includes:

Full technical delivery of all pipeline and future development projects

Supervision of Engineering and Maintenance departments for operating hotels

Leadership and execution of Capex initiatives across the brand
Your initial priority will be a full review of all active pipeline projects to assess risks, identify opportunities, and drive optimization.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the bridge between brand strategy, design, construction teams, and technical consultants

Select and manage third-party service providers, ensuring alignment with budget and quality standards

Maintain strong, transparent relationships with developers, owners, and consultants
-
Ensure brand standards and project goals are met across all technical activities

Oversee stakeholder coordination across all project types (new builds, renovations, refurbishments)

Manage RFPs and ensure compliance with legal, technical, cost, and timing requirements
-
Monitor site progress and ensure alignment with building codes and specifications
-
Lead and mentor the internal technical services team and oversee external consultants
-
Support Capex planning and participate in corporate procurement processes
-
Champion a client-first mindset, long-term relationship-building, and operational excellence
Profile Sought
-
Minimum 10 years' experience in project management or technical services for hospitality or real estate developments

Deep understanding of building codes, MEP systems, and FF&E integration
-
Skilled in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or Adobe is a plus
-
Proven leadership and risk-management skills, with a hands-on approach

Strong commercial acumen in hotel operations and project budgeting
-
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
-
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

Willing to travel internationally as required
