Role Overview
We are hiring a Junior Sales Development Representative (SDR) on behalf of our client, a U.S.-based company that helps families navigate complex benefit programs through expert consultation and hands-on support. As part of their remote sales team, you will be responsible for qualifying leads and scheduling appointments for advisors. This is a great opportunity to grow your sales skills in a mission-driven, fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential clients, qualifying leads based on their needs and eligibility
  • Engage in meaningful conversations to understand client situations and explain the value of Medicaid planning services
  • Schedule qualified appointments for Benefits Advisers to deliver tailored presentations and close deals
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and lead progress in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and improve lead qualification processes
  • Consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics, including appointment setting and conversion rates
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional phone demeanor
  • High level of self-motivation and a results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with potential clients and effectively address their concerns
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple leads and appointments
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
  • Familiarity with CRM software and basic computer proficiency
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills, as you'll be engaging with U.S.-based clients

Compensation
  • Monthly salary of $30,000 - $33,000 MXN
  • Variable compensation plan with the potential to earn additional commission
Additional Information
  • Work Location: Fully remote from Mexico
  • Employment Type: Independent Contractor engaged via UpWork (Any Hire)
  • Hours: Full-time, U.S. business hours (Monday - Friday), with 3540 billable hours per week
  • Training: Initial training period provided to support onboarding and establish role workflow
  • Contract-to-Hire Path: After six months, high performers may be eligible for an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement
Home Office Requirements
  • Environment: Quiet, distraction-free workspace
  • Equipment: Personal computer (minimum 8GB RAM), noise-canceling headset, external monitor, and high-speed internet. Tablets are not permitted
  • Software: All required work software will be provided by the client
