Role Overview
We are hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer on behalf of our client, Eano: a Builders VC and MVP VC-backed platform that's transforming how small to midsize residential general contractors manage everything from lead generation to project delivery and follow-up. You'll join their fully remote engineering team to build and ship the core features that power contractors day-to-day workflows and help homeowners enjoy stress-free renovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Feature delivery: Architect, build, test, and ship end-to-end features spanning Python-powered APIs, Vue.js/React frontends, and Flutter mobile clients
- Infrastructure & data: Design schema and queries in PostgreSQL/Redis, containerize services with Docker, and deploy on Kubernetes/AWS
- User-driven development: Talk directly to contractors and homeowners to gather feedback, validate prototypes, and refine product strategy
- Collaboration: Pair-program, conduct code reviews, participate in sprint planning, and help maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Continuous improvement: Advocate for best practices, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose pragmatic solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years professional experience building production applications in Python or JavaScript
- Hands-on with modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React, or similar)
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS
- Comfortable with mobile development using Flutter (or similar)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; you enjoy discussing trade-offs and clarifying requirements
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote, cross-functional team
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in B2B SaaS or marketplace-style products
- Open-source contributions or personal side projects that showcase your craftsmanship
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
