Job Description: SWC Field Supervisor

The SWC Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing technicians in assigned markets and ensuring the successful delivery of quality telecommunications services on a profitable basis. This role requires strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and directives while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The SWC Field Supervisor develops and manages a knowledgeable team that provides residential and business communications services while exceeding customer expectations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of SWC technicians performing aerial and underground drop placement.
  • Act as the single point of contact between Frontier and contractors to resolve issues in daily operations.
  • Train, coach, and develop vendor teams on quality standards, safety, expense control, and technical skills.
  • Ensure technicians meet performance, productivity, and attendance standards.
  • Represent CS and Frontier with customers, contractors, and governmental agencies.
  • Celebrate team successes through recognition and rewards programs.
  • Motivate and lead the team for continuous improvement and maximum performance.
  • Drive quality assurance and field inspections to ensure a 90% pass rate.
  • Review, QC and approve contractor invoices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in telecom or related technical environments.
  • 2+ years of experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of POTS, HSI, and fiber services.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, email, and telecom legacy systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong skills in prioritization, scheduling, and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple projects under pressure.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers and contractors.
  • Willingness to work varying shifts, mandatory overtime, holidays, weekends and on-call duty.
