About Us
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee multi-dwelling unit (MDU) inside wiring and fiber deployment projects in the telecommunications sector. This role requires a strong baseline understanding of inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) installations, including POTS, internet, and video services. The PM will manage project execution end-to-endensuring service commitments are met, installation standards are upheld, and quality is delivered consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage MDU inside wiring and installation projects, including POTS, internet, and video service delivery.
Oversee field technicians performing installations of ONTs, power supplies, coax, CAT3, CAT5, CAT6A wiring, and temporary drops.
Ensure all installations (including splicing, router configurations, hub installs, and set-top box activations) are performed to specification and pass required testing.
Coordinate training requirements, onboarding, badging, and compliance checks for all technicians.
Track progress against customer commit dates, resolving risks and escalating issues as needed.
Serve as the single point of contact for internal teams, subcontractors, and client-side operations groups.
Lead weekly status meetings and provide detailed progress updates, milestone tracking, and risk assessments.
Oversee equipment readiness, including laptops, meters, and test gear, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Ensure technicians adhere to safety practices, uniform standards, and professional presentation.
Collaborate with permitting, engineering, and field operations teams to support cutovers, repairs, and temporary service delivery.
Support sourcing and onboarding of subcontractors for specialized tasks when necessary.
Provide summary reports on project performance, quality reviews, and final closeout documentation.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing telecommunications engineering and construction projects (OSP/ISP, MDU inside wiring, fiber optic infrastructure).
Strong knowledge of POTS, CATV installations, coax and CAT cable types, and home networking.
Familiarity with test equipment including OTDR, OLTS, ORL meters, and signal strength meters.
Technical understanding of service verification, attenuation, and loss.
Ability to manage multiple crews, vendors, and subcontractors across multiple sites.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive accountability across teams.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a results-driven mindset.
Availability to travel as needed for project oversight and quality reviews.
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Telecommunications preferred. PMP certification is a plus.
What We Offer
