About the Role

Our healthcare-focused MSP client is seeking a high-performing Account Manager to grow and expand existing healthcare client relationships. This role is built for someone who understands that selling in healthcare is consultative, trust-based, and outcome-driven, not transactional.

You will own a book of healthcare accounts (medical practices, clinics, multi-site groups, and related organizations) and be responsible for expanding services in a highly regulated environment.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Revenue Growth & Expansion (Healthcare-Focused)

  • Own and grow a portfolio of healthcare clients (clinical, administrative, and executive stakeholders)
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities across managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, backup, and compliance initiatives
  • Base salary plus commissions/incentives
  • Drive renewals, contract expansions, and multi-year agreements
  • Accurately forecast pipeline and maintain strong CRM discipline (ConnectWise)

Client Relationship & Advisory

  • Build trusted advisor relationships with practice owners, administrators, and healthcare leadership
  • Lead regular business and technology reviews with a focus on risk reduction, compliance, and operational stability
  • Translate regulatory and operational requirements into actionable IT and security solutions
  • Serve as the primary commercial owner for assigned healthcare accounts

Internal Collaboration & Delivery Alignment

  • Partner with vCIOs, Solution Design, & Service Delivery.
  • Ensure clean handoffs between sales and delivery
  • Advocate internally for client needs while maintaining margin and scalability

What Were Looking For

  • Proven success in a quota-carrying Account Manager role, ideally within a healthcare MSP or regulated IT services environment
  • Experience selling into HIPAA-regulated environments strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of healthcare buying cycles and risk-based selling
  • Comfortable carrying revenue responsibility tied directly to compensation
  • Consultative, relationship-first selling approach
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills
