Mason Hod Carrier

Custom Personnel has a client seeking a Hod Carrier to assist with their masonry operations.

The purpose of a hod carrier is to carry and move materials such as bricks, blocks, and mortar to and from the site of construction. They act as an assistant to the masonry workers, providing them with the materials they need to complete the job. This job requires physical strength and stamina, as well as the ability to work in tight spaces and at heights. They must also be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Potential Duties May Include:

• Carry and load building materials, such as bricks, blocks, plaster, and tiles
• Mix mortar and cement
• Clean and prepare building sites
• Erect scaffolding
• Install lintels, door frames, and window frames

Must have prior experienced as a skilled laborer/construction laborer.
