Our tool enables the faster diagnosis of chronic pelvic pain conditions, including endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids and other, meaning anyone who experiences pain can get answers, treatments and get their life back on track. We encourage women & AFAB folks to talk about their experiences and help find solutions rather than excuses - we know it's not just period pains.

Daye is now entering an exciting period of growth and expansion, with a focus on scaling our digital acquisition channels and helping Daye scale spent effectively on performance channels.

About the opportunity

Daye is looking for a Front-end Developer to join our team. To support our growth, we're looking for an experienced and hugely talented software engineer to help us build our e-commerce website and female health platform. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

You'll be working closely with our existing Software team to bring our vision to life and you'll be involved in every stage of the process; from prototyping our initial ideas to building our full product. We are a remote first company, however, the preferred location for this position is Sofia, Bulgaria.

What you'll be doing

• Developing our e-commerce and female health platform frontend in React
• A well-structured frontend application making use of React, and other libraries in the React ecosystem
• Making our content highly interactive and scalable
• Realising our designs into interactive pages while making sure all our content is editable and reusable
• Maintaining and improve website
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed
• Getting feedback from, and build solutions for, users and customers.

What you need to bring

The perfect candidate should be obsessed over the quality of what the team delivers. Whether that be the quality and maintainability of our code or making sure we identify and squash every bug out there. As an e-commerce business, we understand that every millisecond counts when it comes to page speed.

• 2+ years of experience
• Deep knowledge and experience of Javascript and the React ecosystem (especially React v16.8 and above)
• Love for building high quality user interfaces and bringing designs to life (animations, transitions)
• Experience working on e-commerce sites
• Experience with speed, SEO and accessibility optimisation best practices
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing
• Experience with TypeScript
• Highly adaptable and agile, competency in a scrum environment
• Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
• Comfortable with high levels of ambiguity.
