Position Overview

Company requires a qualified Electrical Engineer to take responsibility for the engineering design, tendering, and execution of electrical control and distribution panel projects. The role combines technical design authority with project ownership, including quotation preparation, supervision of panel manufacturing, and support during installation and commissioning.
The engineer must be competent, self-driven, and confident with customers, able to manage both the technical and commercial sides of a project.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and develop LV control systems (Control panels, MCCs, distribution panels, power factor correction panels).
  • Prepare and interpret detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (multi-line / expanded drawings).
  • Select components, prepare bill of materials, and support procurement.
  • Identify and complete tenders including cost estimation, technical documentation, and submission.
  • Coordinate with the workshop team during layout, wiring, and testing.
  • Provide technical support during site installation and commissioning.
  • Perform power analysis, harmonics, and thermal testing, and compile client reports.
  • Manage and track project progress, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to standardisation, documentation, and process improvement within company.

Qualifications & Experience

  • B.Eng / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in LV control systems or panel manufacturing.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD / EPLAN and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong understanding of control and power circuit design, industrial switchgear, and PLC/automation basics.
  • ECSA or NIEB registration advantageous but not required.
  • Excellent English communication (written and spoken).

  • Remuneration: Market-related, based on qualifications and experience
