Position: Hospital Sales Representative (Nurse)

Duty Station: Central Region

Contract: Full time

Salary: Market-related

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and detail hospital and specialty products to healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses, and hospital pharmacists.
• Conduct clinical presentations and product demonstrations within hospital settings.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and hospital decision-makers.
• Provide scientific and technical support on product usage and therapeutic benefits.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in key hospital departments.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective promotional activities.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends within the hospital sector.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in training, conferences, and hospital-based educational initiatives to enhance product and clinical knowledge.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing (ICU, Theatre, or General Nursing background preferred). An additional qualification in Sales & Marketing or in a related field will be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in the private healthcare sector.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical, hospital, or medical sales
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Afrikaans and a third local language will be an added advantage.
• Valid Code B drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of clinical environments and hospital protocols.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Traceable professional references.
