NamPost Financial Brokers (Pty) Ltd trading as PostFin, is a wholly owned subsidiary of NamPost created as a conduit for NamPost to better serve Namibians by providing access to affordable financial services throughout the Country.

Chief Executive Officer

5-Year Fixed Term Contract

Primary purpose of position

To strategically direct, lead and inspire PostFin to unlock maximum value for its stakeholders and shareholders.

Key Performance Areas

• Develop and implement Integrated Strategic Business Plan and Annual Plans.
• Ensure that good Corporate Governance practices are uncompromisingly upheld.
• Ensure the development and growth of targeted markets, customer groupings and ensure commercial success.
• Build brand strength within the value chain amongst all stakeholders as well as building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholder(s).
• Direct and guide the implementation of effective financial management protocols and discipline.
• Unlock operational efficiencies and effectiveness through innovation.
• Lead a high-performance organisational culture, capacitated by passionate, talented team members.
• Lead, direct and coordinate key business and organization projects (including new ventures).
• Direct and guide effective internal management and administration processes.

Minimum Academic Qualification required

• An Honour's Degree (NQF8) in Business Management, Banking,  Finance, or closely related field.
• A master's degree (NQF9) in Business Management, Banking, Finance will be an added advantage.

Experience required

• A minimum of ten (10) years working/business experience
• of which at least six (6) years should have been in the financial services industry (e.g. commercial banking) with an emphasis on credit products development and proliferation.
• A minimum of six (6) years managerial experience (managing a business unit or a major department in a large organisation or managing a smaller company at CEO level).
• A valid Namibian driver's license.
