Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Management & Reconciliation
- Maintain supplier accounts, process invoices, and reconcile supplier statements against company records.
- Work closely with the debtor's clerk to ensure customer payments are received and supplier balances are accurate.
- Cashflow & Financial Management
- Monitor and manage company cashflow.
- Understand and interpret financial statements for management reporting.
- Translate technical financial data into clear, actionable business insights.
- Accounting & Reporting
- Perform management accounting tasks including budgeting, forecasting, and target setting.
- Understanding of VAT reports and provisional tax submissions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Systems & Software Proficiency
- Advanced use of Sage for invoicing, reconciliations, VAT coding, and reporting.
- Proficient in Excel for dashboards, rolling averages, and financial analysis.
- Ability to work with OrderMation and or other second-party processing systems.
- Commission & Payroll
- Prepare and calculate accurate commission reports for sales staff.
- Understanding payroll documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Human Resources Support
- Draft and refine disciplinary documentation.
- Support HR processes with fairness, transparency, and policy alignment.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–3 years' experience in accounting or finance (junior to mid-level).
- Strong knowledge of supplier reconciliations, VAT, and management reporting.
- Ability to prepare budgets, targets, and commission calculations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
- Good communication skills for supplier, stakeholder, and internal reporting.
- Experience in HR administration and disciplinary documentation is an advantage.

- Ensure supplier and debtor accounts are reconciled monthly.
- Provide clear, timely management reports and financial insights.
- Uphold compliance with VAT, tax, and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with finance and sales teams.
