- Training / Education: Minimum Grade 12.
- Qualification: Post-graduate qualification in Sales & Marketing or Hotel Management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Actively source, qualify, and secure new business across corporate, government, leisure, and MICE segments.
- Conduct daily prospecting, cold calls, site inspections, and client visits.
- Support the hotel in meeting room night, revenue, and segment contribution targets
Account Management & Client Relationships
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
- Conduct quarterly account reviews, contract renewals, and performance updates.
- Maintain strong communication flow with bookers, travel agents, PCOs, and corporates
Market Research, Intelligence & Competitor Awareness
- Monitor competitor activity, rate movements, and market shifts.
- Collect and communicate market intelligence to support pricing and strategy decisions.
- Identify new industry trends and revenue opportunities.
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate client information, activities, and pipelines in CRM tools.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, productivity updates, and forecasts.
- Coordinate with reservations, revenue, and operations to ensure accurate communication.
Event Sales Support (MICE & Groups)
- Handle enquiries, prepare proposals, conduct site inspections, and follow up to close business.
- Liaise with operations to ensure seamless handover of group/event details.
- Support execution of promotional events, exhibitions, and sales activations
Client Engagement, Networking & Brand Representation
- Attend networking events, trade shows, exhibitions, and industry meetings.
- Represent the hotel professionally at all external interactions.
- Create strong brand awareness and build new business relationships.
Collaboration With Internal Departments
- Work closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, F&B, and Events.
- Ensure clients' needs, expectations, and booking details are communicated clearly.
