About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance and admin Manager to lead our financial operations. As a Financial and admin support professional, you will be instrumental in driving financial strategy and administrative support, ensuring compliance and providing strategic guidance to senior management. Duties to include the following:
- Full Accounting function up to Trial Balance
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Monthly management reporting to Management the directors
- Quarterly management reporting to the directors
- Managing office administration personnel
- Creditors Management and Monthly Reconciliation
- Debtors Management
- Manage regular stock taking
- Process banking payments for Directors to authorize
- Developing and maintaining internal controls
- Manage administrative functions from a compliance and operational effectiveness approach.
- Manage procurement and payments
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning: Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Create and monitor annual budgets and forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Strategic Insights: Analyse financial data and provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee the company's cash flow, ensuring proper allocation and investment of funds.
- Risk Management: Manage risk through insurance, hedging and other financial instruments, ensuring the company's financial stability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives and drive growth.
- Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and profitability, driving the company's financial success.
- Prepare tax returns to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax legislation and regulation; provide advice and solutions to business tax matters.
- Financial Record Management: Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial records, transactions and documentation.
- Internal Controls: to ensure the integrity of operations, financial and accounting practices. Identify risk factors that could adversely affect the business and adhere to procedures that mitigate identified risks or exposure to risk and disclose risk information to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and legal requirements.
Recruitment: Oversee recruitment and on boarding processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating new hire orientations.
Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
Training and Development: Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Pastel Partner Pro-Efficient
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, Analysis and Reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
- Proven track record of success in financial management and planning.
- Experience in risk management and financial instruments.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
Advantageous:
- Charted Institute of Business Accountants, or other relevant professional certification will be an added advantage
- Proven track record of staff management
- Experience in Managing Security Company Administration
