Position: Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

Duty Station: Central Region

Contract: Full time

Salary: Market-related

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key opinion leaders.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution of promotional activities.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of product features, clinical data, and therapeutic benefits.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Identify new business opportunities, present tailored solutions, and negotiate sales terms as needed.
  • Keep current with market developments, competitor activities, and medical trends.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and documentation in line with company policies.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and medical conferences.

Requirements

  • 12 years of pharmaceutical sales experience or at least 2 years as a Pharmacists Assistant (advantage).
  • Diploma or degree in Sales & Marketing or a Pharmacy-related qualification (Bachelors in Life Sciences/Business is a plus).
  • Fluency in English; Afrikaans and a third local language will be an added advantage.
  • Code B drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Traceable references.
