POSITION LOCATION: Windhoek, Khomas, Namibia

POSITON NAME: Procurement Coordinator

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating weekly procurement orders from lodges and camps and ensuring the correct approval processes are followed.
  • Placing orders with approved suppliers and managing supplier relationships.
  • Managing the central store, including stock levels, issuing, and seasonal PAR requirements.
  • Receiving, checking, and allocating goods against orders, quotations, and invoices.
  • Maintaining accurate procurement records, pricing data, and stock movements on our Stock Management System (Tall Order)
  • Coordinating logistics and transportation of goods to lodges and camps.
  • Managing daily consumable procurement across operations, including camps, guides, vehicles, offices, and special requirements.
  • Conducting monthly stock takes, variance checks, and participating in annual stock counts with external auditors.
  • Supporting departmental systems, processes, and compliance with procurement SOPs.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Namibian citizen.
  • Valid Driver's Licence Code B.
  • Diploma in Procurement and Logistics or a related field, with a minimum of two years' experience in the hospitality and tourism sector.
  • Alternatively, five years' experience in a Procurement and Logistics position within the hospitality and tourism sector. Relevant certificates will be an added advantage.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and hospitality software such as Tall Order or similar.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, including professional telephone etiquette
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and reliability.
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
