Vacancy: Finance Manager

Location: Windhoek, Namibia

Job Summary:

Our client in the Retail sector is in the market for a motivated and dedicated individual to fill the Finance Manager position responsible for the country's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all the financial functions within the country, Namibia. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Planning, managing and controlling the accurate recording and processing of all accounting information of all the retail chain shops.

• Preparation of budgets, monthly management accounts, and the company's quarterly & annual financial statements.

• Ensuring that the accounts reflect an accurate and true record of financial transactions and putting in place operational procedures for timely resolution of debtor/creditor queries.

• Working Capital Management

• Capital Budgeting

• Prepare cash flows and forecast modelling.

• Fund Raising

• Tax management & administration of the company

• Audit liaison (internal & external)

• Listing Requirements & Adherence

You will report directly to the Group Chief Finance Officer with a dotted line of reporting to the Country Head.

Qualification and Experience Required:

• A Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience in the FMCG industry.

• Other accounting qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA/ICAI will be considered

• Have held senior finance positions covering multiple markets (geographies).

• Have held senior leadership positions in a business with an annual turnover exceeding N$ 1 billion.
