Role: EXECUTIVE FINANCE AND SUPPLY CHAIN
Divisions: Finance and Supply Chain
Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Walvis Bay
Nature of the position: 5-year FTC
Primary purpose of this position:
This role shapes and executes the forward-thinking financial vision aligned with the companys strategic goals and objectives. Oversees all core financial functions including treasury, risk management, budgeting, performance analysis, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls, while promoting cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Leads the transformation of supply chain operations through strategic procurement, sustainable sourcing, and proactive risk management to enhance efficiency, resilience, and alignment with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.
Key Performance Areas:
- Strategic Financial Leadership
Responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to ensure Namdocks long-term sustainability, operational efficiency, and value creation. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, translating financial insights into enterprise-wide strategies. Drive transformation initiatives that enhance value creation, operational resilience, and long-term competitiveness.
- Treasury & Risk Management
Oversee treasury operations, optimize capital structure, and manage liquidity to support strategic growth. Lead risk mitigation strategies across interest rate, currency, credit, and liquidity exposures. Build strong relationships with financial institutions and ensure compliance with global financial standards.
- Financial Analysis, Performance Management & Reporting
Lead performance analysis and financial control to ensure value creation and cost efficiency. Implement SMART-based systems for continuous improvement and strategic alignment. Deliver accurate, timely reporting and insights to support executive decision-making and stakeholder communication.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
Design and lead integrated budgeting and forecasting frameworks across all divisions. Align operational and capital budgets with strategic objectives and ensure transparency and accountability. Monitor and evaluate financial performance to support agility and evidence-based decisions.
- Supply Chain Management
Build strategic supplier and vendor relationships to ensure a resilient, competitive supply chain. Oversee procurement governance, sustainable sourcing, and risk management aligned with Namdocks ESG goals. Streamline logistics, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure supply chain security and compliance.
- Stakeholder & Customer Relations
Build strong relationships with shareholders, board members, regulators, and financial institutions. Represent finance in executive and board-level discussions, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations. Communicate financial performance, risks, and ESG outcomes with clarity and transparency.
- Cross-Functional Integration
Align financial strategies with operational, commercial, HR, and technical functions. Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive efficiency, automation, and value creation. Facilitate interdepartmental budgeting, forecasting, and performance alignment.
- Leadership & Culture
Champion a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement. Mentor finance teams, foster collaboration, and promote financial literacy across the organization.

Qualification and Experience Required:
- Minimum Honours Bachelors degree in Financial Accounting or related field (at level NQF 8).
- A relevant Masters degree would be advantageous (at level NQF 9).
- CA/CPA/ACCA professional qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years financial experience at Senior Management Level, preferably in a complex, multi-functional financial services or engineering or mining industry environment.
- Strong strategic mindset with a proven track record in strategic financial and treasury management, risk management, budgeting, performance analysis, reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
- Sound experience in regulations and financial compliance in terms of NAMCODE and application of King IV.
- Code B drivers license.
