POSITON NAME: Internal Auditor
Job purpose:
To deliver the annual audit plan and providing assurance to stakeholders that key risks are being mitigated through management controls, and to add and improve operations through the implementation of a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for all the internal audit project management activities of the Bank.
- Performing the full internal audit cycle.
- Plan and develop risk based annual audit plans.
- Design internal audit procedures and work programs.
- Apply the regulatory and corporate governance expectations of internal audit functions.
- Evaluate and assess business processes and objectives, determine key controls, risk and exposures.
- Improve the Banks operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Build trusting relationships and improve credibility and quality of audit outputs by achieving objectives.
- Assess and improve the effectiveness of the Banks control, risk management and governance process.
- Prepare audit reports.
- Adhere to Nam code principals and Internal Auditing Standards.
- Provide regular reports to the BOD on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls.
- Advisor management on monitoring techniques, risk management and internal controls.
- Required to travel from time to time.

Key requirements:
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
- Minimum of 5 years auditing experience, and preferable 2 years financial/banking industry experience.
- Experience in engaging with all levels of management.
