JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL SERVICE SUPERVISOR

REPORTS TO : WORKSHOP MANAGER
JOB GRADE : PATTERSON GRADE D5

The Role

Provide a high level of support to the Workshop manager. Manage the day-to-day operations of the repairs & maintenance of all workshops. Responsible for all the maintenance and services on all equipment and vehicles.
Keeping stock of all tools, parts, accessories, supplies and fuel.

To be the perfect candidate and to qualify for this job you will need the following Qualifications & Relevant experience:

Computer literacy: Outlook & Microsoft programs, Stock Take Program(s) and Purchasing Program(s) & Pastel Accounting program
Knowledge of tracking budget expenses
5 years Experience as a supervisor in a diverse and multi skilled team
Experience in basic building repairs and maintenance

5 to 10 Years Technical Experience in one or more of the following trades: Diesel Mechanics, Hydraulics, Carpentry,
Plumbing, Painting and Decorating
Qualification (NQF level 3) in one or more of the following trades: Diesel Mechanics, Hydraulics, Carpentry, Plumbing,
Painting etc.
5 Years experience in Procurement & Stock Control
Own reliable transport
Drivers License Code CE

KPIs-
Manage & Oversees repairs and maintenance on all vehicles
Manage & Oversees repairs and maintenance on all equipment
Manage & Oversees repairs and maintenance on skips and bins
Responsible for repairs and maintenance on yard and office
Always on standby for the workshop
Drivers Testing (oversee)
Keep stock of tools, parts, accessories, and supplies
Keep storerooms neat, tidy and locked at all times
Provide/manage stock reports to Management
Totams Asset Management System
Stock Take & Stock Control
SHE Representative Duties at Workshop & Welders Workshop
Manage & Oversees repairs & maintenance of all equipment & vehicles at various Regions & Branches
