Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Set ambitious yet achievable goals for the sales team.
  • Drive strategic account planning to maximize opportunities.
  • Oversee the full sales cycle from identification to project delivery.
  • Identify and penetrate new markets to diversify revenue streams.
  • Cultivate relationships with existing clients and enhance their lifetime value.
  • Explore opportunities in emerging African regions.
  • Represent the company at local and international industry events.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and pre-sales teams to craft innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and train junior sales team members for success.

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Namibian ICT sector.
  • Strong, existing, customer relationships in Namibia.
  • Product knowledge on HPE and Aruba products.
  • An advanced understanding of Cybersecurity products.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales management and 5 years in sales.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Technical acumen to develop tailored proposals and solutions.
  • Resilience to excel in challenging situations.
