Location: Windhoek, Namibia

Job Summary:

Our client in the Retail sector is in the market for a Branch Manager. This individual who reports into the Regional Manager, is responsible for leading a team to follow good corporate governance guidelines throughout, while also ensuring affective administration, merchandising, pricing, housekeeping, store and food safety, product quality and hygiene standards are adhered to.

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• 5 Years retail experience with 2 years successfully functioning as an internal assistant manager or an external branch manager.
• Comprehensive knowledge and skill in all store operations.
• Thorough understanding of the key elements that affect the nett profit line on a profit and loss statement.
• Proven record of effective supervision and team building.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Medium MS Excel and Word skill level.
