A proudly Namibian owned business promoting the meat industry and making a difference through innovative new technologies. We supply quality spices, herbs, seasonings, sauces, butchery equipment, vacuum machines, packaging material as well as natural and artificial. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and sales skills, as well as a strong understanding of customer service principles. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner

- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products

- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized sales area

- Monitor inventory levels and restock products as needed

- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner

- Stay up to date on product knowledge and industry trends

- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles

- Proficient in MS Office, Pastel and POS systems
